Househunting: How Much Would It Be in Euros?

Last week, the dollar fell again against the Euro. On April 16, the new low actually set a record — $1.5979 per 1 Euro. So we thought we would do a little househunting again to see where things stand in the world of Boston real estate — from a EURO perspective, that is!  All exchange rates were calculated as of last Saturday, when the exchange rate fell to about $1.57 per 1 Euro.

315 Beacon Street, #3, 479,608 E. You couldn’t ask for a better location in Boston’s prestigious Back Bay neighborhood. This is an 84-square-meter two-bedroom, one-bathroom apartment. It includes two fireplaces and two deeded parking spaces.

218 West Canton Street, #1, 583,788 E. This two-bedroom, two-bathroom, 146-square-meter apartment is in the heart of the South End, within easy walking distance of the Back Bay and public transportation. This unit includes parking, a garden and a private entrance.

26 Stillman Street, #3, 355,100 E. This one-bedroom North End loft of 84 square meters has views of the Boston Skyline and the Rose Kennedy Greenway. It has a private outdoor patio and the building also has an elevator.

1070 Beacon Street, #2, 266,166 E. This two-bedroom apartment of 92 square meters is conveniently located on Beacon Street in Brookline, just beyond Kenmore Square. This building is a co-op rather than a condo, and the unit features a fireplace and has access to a mahogany roofdeck.
