Here’s a quick tip for newcomers to Boston: Next time you’re looking for a good movie, don’t forget to check out what’s playing at the Museum of Fine Arts (MFA). It’s one of the few places in town that you can regularly catch a wide-array of films from all corners of the world. In March, the MFA held French Week. Films shown included Roman de gare, The Duchess of Langeais and Ca brule.  In early April, the MFA hosted the Boston Turkish Film Festival, and films that included Riza, Times and Winds, and Waiting for Heaven. This month, the MFA will show the music films of Murray Lerner as well as 8 Italian films that are part of its “New Italian Cinema.”

Tickets: MFA members, seniors and students, $8; general admission $9. Tickets may be purchased online at www.mfa.org/tickets, 24 hours a day. All tickets are also available in advance Mon, Tues., Sat, and Sun, 10 a.m.-4:40 p.m and Wed-Fri., 10 a.m. to 8:30 p.m.
